Avel Flight School is proud to announce that we are approved by the Department of Veteran Affairs to provide flight training to military personal. Avel Flight School is happy to guide veterans in transitioning to a civilian career in the aviation industry. Our FAA approved courses are approved by the State Approving Agency of Illinois to train Veterans and eligible dependents. Funding to cover tuition fees and possible living expenses may be available to Veterans to attend Avel Flight School’s approved courses.
As a Veteran Affairs (VA) approved flight school, eligible military personal / veterans can now enroll in our professional pilot program and avail VA benefits.
The federal government provides financial assistance to the men and women who have served our country in the armed forces through the Department of Veteran Affairs. This is offered through various VA benefits such as The Post-9/11 and Montgomery GI-Bills. With this program Veterans have an opportunity to train for new job skills by qualifying in career oriented programs approved by The Department of Veteran Affairs.
Our VA approved professional pilot program offers an excellent choice to veterans seeking a career in aviation.
To honour currently serving military personal and veterans, Avel Flight School is glad to offer a discount on our Private Pilot Course.
